Every three minutes a woman will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and every 14 minutes one will die from it. Affecting one in nine women, breast cancer remains the most common form of cancer in women in the U.S., and the second leading cause of cancer deaths for all women. This July ('01), I'll join 2,999 other walkers in a 60 mile, 3 day crusade against this widespread killer in an event called, "The Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day".

The 3-Day mission is to help more women receive breast cancer early detection and support services, and to fund medical research to find the causes of and a cure for breast cancer.
